Wrestling, Tragedy, and the Circus - Book and Newspaper
Fall 2019
For the content of this project, two texts – A chapter from the book Water for Elephants, and an excerpt from Aristotle's Poetics were chosen to accompany Roland Barthes' essay "The World of Wrestling." This book and newspaper design is intended to portray the connection between good and evil, real and fake, and the spectacle
that exists between them. The type was carefully treated to make this cohesive across both mediums.
